First Venus Leone Exhibit at the NoHo Art Walk

For the first time ever (besides in high school), I am going to present my hand crafted creations from some paintings to some painted bongs, hats and Erbies / Herbies that like chia pets grow grass hair when watered. I used to make them as a kid for my uncle's street market sales. When I went back to Italy to visit last year, he gave me the instructions on how to make them again. So I am giving it a try. It's funny how you will focus on what you want and less on your true talents in life. I am finally at a point that I acknowledge and appreciate every one of God's blessings and make it more about enjoying the journey, than the outcome that I would want. I try to remind myself every day to let go of desire and carpe diem / enjoy the moment.

Since the NoHo Art Walk is still growing and finally made it to have it's first Saturday event, moving away from Thursday's and the day just happens to fall on 11.11.17, which is not only a great number in numerology, but also the start day of the Carnival Season in Switzerland, where I grew up.

The NoHo Art Walk happens at the remodeled NoHo Pedestrian Plaza behind Pit Fire and across the street from Sweetie Pies in North Hollywood, CA. There will be performing artists , dj spinning and a few visual artists including me to get inspired and buy something hand made with love. It happens right after the Farmers Market, so my goal is to go over and get some healthy snacks from them to keep supporting the small businesses in the area.

So get off your devices and come enjoy a beautiful 68 °F fall day in the NoHo Art District, pass by the farmers market, come by our booths at the Art Walk starting at 2pm and bring the whole fam!
